Preview Recognizing Red Flags
As children get more comfortable listening to their safety voice, students will get better at recognizing how they feel when people try to manipulate them. Students learn how to recognize Red Flag warning signs in interpersonal relationships and in unsafe situations and behaviors. Students learn that seemingly safe and healthy relationships can change into unsafe relationships. Essential learning includes using their personal safety skills to recognize when protective boundaries are crossed, and the different methods to access help in threatening and/or unsafe situations.
