This 2.5-hour virtual workshop provides an overview of the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Study, the impact of ACEs, brain development, results of ACEs, and resilience — going deeper than the introductory ACEs workshop to focus on how we build protective factors that help children and communities thrive.
By understanding how toxic stress shapes the developing brain and how resilience actively counteracts those effects, participants leave with concrete strategies to implement in their homes, schools, or organizations.
This workshop is appropriate for teachers, caregivers, healthcare professionals, social workers, and anyone who works with or cares for children and wants to move from awareness to action.
