Responding, Not Reacting
You've most likely heard the term mindfulness — but are you familiar with how it applies to and impacts parenting? Mindful parenting serves a twofold purpose: bringing awareness to the emotions of all involved and promoting and preserving connection and understanding within the relationship.
It's about responding to situations rather than reacting, in order to create a positive and safe learning environment for the children in your life.
This training helps you better understand mindfulness, the benefits it holds for both you and your children, and how to incorporate this moment-to-moment awareness into your parenting style in a practical and sustainable way. It is part of the A Way of Being with Children series, with a focus on children ages birth to 5.
