The focus of this online 1-hour workshop is using Play Therapy with clients who have experienced trauma. Specific activities and strategies are explored.

Trauma can be especially harmful for young children as it impacts their developing brains and bodies in so many negative ways. Play Therapy provides children an opportunity to express their traumatic experiences, process these experiences, and learn ways to cope with the impact of trauma to heal from it.

This training will provide information on the impact of trauma on children and their families, with Play Therapy interventions practitioners can immediately use with children in different developmental stages.
